- Department supported the world’s 6th-largest decision support system (Most Rows/Records category, Winter Corporation 2001), including 25+ production databases spanning 6 countries (Red Brick / UNIX platform), as well as 30 production Oracle OLTP systems. Catalina's DSS ranked 5th in Peak Workload in Winter Corp's 2003 survey.
- Team lead for MicroStrategy 7i business intelligence administration/architecture. This software was purchased by Catalina in late 2002 as part of an initiative to enhance functionality of the Retailer Direct On Line application and reengineer its underlying data warehouse systems.
- Successfully deployed RDOL Interactive to our first French retailer in October 2003, and to our first US retailer in January 2004; this MicroStrategy solution will eventually support up to 100 different retailers worldwide in their native language.
- Collaborated daily with executives, managers, and team members from a diverse cross-section of the company, including sales/marketing, application development, enterprise services, intranet, database, and end user support groups in the US, as well as Catalina’s IT / business team in France.
- Provided initial administrative support for SAS Enterprise Guide software as part of the company’s data mining initiative.
- Provided secondary support for 6 Oracle 8i databases making up the back end repositories for the Plumtree Portal and MicroStrategy applications.
- Participated in recruitment and selection of both interns and business intelligence team members.

- Proof of concept system design for an enterprise-wide change management system using PVCS Tracker; system originally allowed for tracking of infrastructure-related change requests. Requirements gathering conducted using a variant of the Microsoft Solutions Framework.
- Utilized BrioQuery business intelligence software to create scheduled, consolidated reports that improved tracking and monthly reporting of the department’s outstanding and completed change requests across all Catalina applications.
- Assisted with maintaining the currency of business continuity information, including development of an Access 97 software inventory / license tracking system.
- Improved documentation through diagramming business processes and infrastructure systems, and administering the department’s intranet site.
